Okay so I have a problem, I bought a bmw to restore and drive, It had sat for 5 years. once I got it home I started fixing it up well this where the problems start. before I took out the dashbord to clean it and restore it the insterment clusher (tach and Speedo) lights worked but after I put the dash back in they don't, I have checked the gauge the light module and they both work fine in the other BMW I have. I also checked and replaced all the fuses. Any Ideas would be vary helpful

Are the connectors in the back of the cluster clean and tight? Check fuses 10, 34 and 43. The fuse panel is located above the glove box. Check the fuses with an ohm meter. What’s the voltage from the battery? Check the voltage at the jumper post located under the hood under the red plastic cover. Use the engine as ground. Whacky voltages cause whacky issues. Modern BMWs are rolling computers.
