Hot to turn-off the adaptive part of cruise control

Hello, I am new in the BMW world since a purchased an 2015 Alpina B6 to replace my vintage Saab 9-5.
It's an absolute dream to drive the car! But I have one minor inconvienience maybe you can help me solve.
The adaptive cruise control is not an option i like, it brakes the car to early, react too abrubt and sometimes unexpectedly braking or accelerating too slow or fast.
So I would like to know how I can turn the adaptive part off but keep the speed control active.
Later models have an option too do this, but it seems my car lacks this feature
