    Individual Throttle Body Conversion

I'm wondering if anyone has done the conversion from the Bosch J/Motronic set up to the individual throttle bodies that are on the M Series. Aside from the super cool visual effect, i'm assuming that this set up would reduce my gas mileage, but provide greater smiles per gallon. I have an M90 motor with a Schrick 290 cam and Stahl headers, car hesitates a little on spirited acceleration, i'm thinking the motor needs more fuel. look forward to insights.

There was an intermediate plate back in the 80's from a place that went out of business in SC. If there is was enough interest, I could have some made I'm sure. I've also seen a normal m30 intake adapted to run 2 throttle bodies and 1 active AFM and 1 slave AFM. It was ok for the track, but with the technology at the time, it wasn't very smooth on the street.

The kits are here. A few have done it in Aus. http://racehead.com.au/products-page...tle-body-kits/

They are about 30 mins from my office.

These look FAB. I would think these kit's would be available in the US as well, but they do offer international shipping. Would be curious to get a sense on the conversion effort. thank you.

    Call them, or email.

    Here's their E21 2.9l stroker on the track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPn6dauesEw

Good kit! Is that black E24 for which the engine is being built on this forum by any chance?

Don't think so. Looks like it was done as a racing project. Vids seem to end around 2015 so mayhaps not much was done post. I'm pretty active in the local BMW car club and in the state 6'er movement and more than likely would have seen this car around had they been active. It is only 20 mins from me and a street away from where I once had work done on my 6'er and E3 racer.
