Wow! Those look pretty cool.
Man, I've been watching guys in EU do these really cool conversions and always wondered how come this isn't available in the states? A lot of "Classic" wheels from the 80s/90s receive this much needed facelift to go with the rest of the car.
Do you have a website and price list somewhere?
Hi flycaper!
Long time no contact !
These do make otherwise totally boring OEM BMW Wheels look a hell of a lot better !
Here's a pic I collected of Style 17's converted to 3 piece
They were a 2 piece originally so bit more of an interesting design as OEM, but look spectacular with the deep step lips and rest of the conversion !
Hope you still have my wheel with you ?! I'll get it sorted so you can send to Paul at Ehrlich.
Are you going to be doing these conversions yourself or with a trusted wheel builder etc?
I have a local contact I need to get in touch with who can do this kind of work too, might be able to collaborate ?!
Mless5 - I'm sure this kind of customisation has been quite readily available in the USA for quite some time? perhaps for other brands mainly and not so much BMW or other Euro prestige brands etc.
Cheers, Dennis!
ewheelworks.us does awesome work with bbs wheels

How do you do that?
Just machine the lips off of the OEM hub and machine a groove and holes to fit aftermarket 3 piece lips?
I am very curious..

I've been working on these

That's exactly what that is. I'm building a custom wide body and needed 12" rears. The fronts will be modified 5's at 10". I'm going to have Paul @ ewheelworks make my 4"lips

The multiple reviews I saw about his attention to detail is what made me decide to go with his work. At the end of the day this is going to be just a track car so the wheels dont have to look perfect but, anyone who takes that much pride to make wheels look as good as he does... I know I'll be getting wheel components that are built properly and they will be safe.

Long long way to go but here are a few other pics of the project

I will update my brain cell with that info ! There's another wheel in the US I need to get sent over to Paul, got confused with that one !
I will message you soon as I have some ideas in my head!
Cheers, Dennis!
