@Nike32 - sorry, a bunch of questions for you ............ is that with the BC's slammed all the way down? And any issues with rubbing or alignment ? What size of rubbers and rims........ rim width and offsets !?!? That's the looking I'm hoping to achieve but am concerned with that "Stance" being too brutal and having "issues" (alignment, tire wear, rubbing, etc).

Mate, I don't have the car anymore, have 540i instead, hard to say how it is now, but for me ride wasn't harsh, but it was bouncy a bit, but very stable, I raced my friend and he have brand new Audi TTS, and my E38 steered better into a slight corner at 230km/h on motorway, less body roll and more stable than Audi on electric shocks.

    But I had those specs
BC BR Extreme drop, front all the way down, rears plenty to go down
    Rims:
    Front 9.5" with 245/40R19 with ET22
    Rears 11" 275/35R19 with ET25

    Front had spacers almost 20mm
Rears I tried 10-15mm without rubbing.

On the photo below, with the old rims I had, they were
8.5" and 9.5" R19 and 255/40 and 275/35 with spacers 15mm back and 20mm front, actually I liked that setup more, than with new rims.

    Hey Guys what’s up?

I know it has been a couple of years since this thread was relevant, but i just have the opportunity to get lowered so i have some confusion about all above posts that i would like to clear up before i purchase anything.

I quite don’t understand the difference between standard BR and super low BR, therefor my question is the following; i have regular factory suspension on my e38.

Just by simply installing a set of regular BR’s, will that already lower the car or do they come with a default hight of a none sport factory suspension?

Same question goes for the BR Extreme Lows, everyone mentioned that they give a extra inch of lowering clearance on top of what the regular BR’s, do i understand this correctly? So do these extreme lows also come with a default hight as the factory suspension and then from there you can lower ithem 3, 4, 5 inches?

So how much do the standards BR’s lower the car on max bottom out? For a example, i also want a setup for comfortable daily driving, but maybe just a little but lower, so that have to take care of the oil pan like 25% of the time…and not 100% of the time, does it make sense? So would there be regula BR’s enough to achieve this and the Extreme low’s would be too much? I don’t want to display the car on stance nation lol.

I like Sundaycruzer’s setup, how many inches is that lowered from the available lowering clearance on those regular BR’s?

PP..... yeah, everything I have read on this issue between BR regulars and BR extreme lows has been confusing as hell. The confusing part is this..... I've heard people post that regulars go nice and low and then I've hear some others can't get them low enough to make it even look decent. Pictures showing both as well. I don't know if it's maybe some people don't know what they are doing install wise or if it's something else. I can't believe there is such a vast differerce for BR regular setups.

I'm leaning towards extreme lows if someone can convince me that they sit decently high (not stock height but a bit lower than that) at the highest setting in case I need them to go back up. My son's E46 on BR regulars sits pretty low though. So it's a tough call ........

Has anyone installed KW Street Comfort Coilover Kit - Fixed Damping set up? I have a 2001 750il and the existing EDC/SLS system is tired and old. However, I don't want to lower it a lot and I like the adjustability of the KW Street Comfort Coilover Kit (20-45mm/.78-1.78in). Thanks for your input guys!
