Haven't bought any E21 parts in about 20 years, but used to use BavAuto as it was a short ride away. Now doing an M20 driveline swap and 323i suspension into an E21 and will need new parts sources with BavAuto closing. How's Turner Motorsports? Do they have a good stock of E21/E30 parts for local pick-up? Also used to order E21 and E30 parts through the local dealership through Mobile Tradition. Is it still possible to get parts through the dealer? Any other suggestions for good suppliers. Quick shipping to NE Mass would be a plus.

For more basic parts, FCP Euro is a great vendor. Also enjoy using Pelican Parts. For 323i items you will have to lean in to others.

What do you already have? I know a guy with a bunch of parts for a 323i, including myself honestly

The car is my son's first car, an 83 320is that we swapped an E30 M20 into along with front and rear subframes from a 323i, braking system, H&R lowering springs, Bilstein sports, 15" Alpinas. etc. etc. in the 90s It finally had to be parked due to terminal rust so now we're swapping all those parts into a rust-free 320i body. Ideally, the only parts we'll need are things that need to be replaced after sitting for about 15 yrs, like brake rotors, hoses, etc. Time will tell if we're being optimistic.

When ordering dealer parts I use getbmwparts.com in Maryland. Takes a few days to a week to get parts if in stock, most e21 parts are usually are coming from Germany anyway, so I plan for it to take about a week to two. I highly recommend them.
For OEM replacements, since the Bavauto is gone I can't recommend anyone on the east coast. I will probably try FCP euro myself since I have ordered from them once and their service was very good. I have had an issue with Turner with their used parts and sales rep. behavior in 2013 and have not ordered from them since. I can't recommend them. I have heard they changed the ownership so maybe things are better now.
Nationwide -
I occasionally use Autohausaz and have used them for over a decade with great success, but shipping from AZ takes about a week.
When I lived in California I ordered from Pelican all the time and they were very good. I have not ordered from them much since I moved (2015) because getting parts to VT took forever and shipping was not cheap. Since I have not used them recently can't comment on their service. They changed ownership recently, so who knows how they are now.
ECS- I have ordered from them a few times and other than unpredictable (usually long) shipping there were no issues.
Hope it helps,
Max
I use ECS/Turner or FCP Euro for almost everything now. Between the two they have the best prices and often shipping is free since orders over $49 make that a thing. Free shipping though doesn't always put it on your doorstep as quick as you like, but I'm cheap.

FCP Euro. Good prices and lifetime guarantee on EVERYTHING (yes, that includes brake pads, wiper blades, etc.)
Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.
If you don’t mind used send me a PM and I’ll do what I can to set you up with it
