Besides my 98 Z3 I also have a 328i and was looking at a service manual and a guy from Portugal posted this one.

Now I realize this is a 328 service manual but in the content is a section showing there is a part for the Z3.
Has anyone managed to find that?
My ipad is not happy with that link.

Input your VIN (last 7 characters) and you will get information__by the manufacturer__specific to your car.
Thanks Randy! That is a super link to have.

At the start of this thread I was looking for service manual info for my soft top. There is a heck of a lot of info in Randy's link and easy to get lost.
This is where I found it: Home / BMW E36 Z3 2.8 Roadster / Repair Manuals and Technical Data / 54 Slide/tilt sunroof and soft top /
I/you could also use my/your VIN no to get to the Repair Manuals and Technical Data page and then on to section "54".
