This is just sad...
Damn shame. I didnt buy from them enough. I wonder if they will liquidate parts but they were probably bought up by FCP or ECS or something
Oh, no!
Wow. I remember back in the 80's when they were the only game in town other than the dealer for most stuff.

That's a shame, they were one of the only places I could find some 323i parts.
Yes, I have bought from them and got some good parts too. Competition from other sellers.. I Bought the red lowering shocks from them and assorted parts from time to time. Sorry to see them go.

Bummer, I liked having parts the next state away from me
That is too bad... I wonder what happened, I buy from them all the time. Just got a set of shocks for my wife's e36 from them couple of weeks ago...

Hopefully they can reorganize Bavarian Autosport and get up and running again.

I got their email last Friday. This is discouraging news, they were my go to guys for parts for the E21. I needed to order some parts on Friday and as their website was still up, I gave it a try for something cheap. All went well until I got to the payment method at which point it wouldn't accept my card, which is a good thing I guess. Don't want to be paying for something that isn't going to be shipped. I don't know what happened but I hope they can get up and running again. The statement on the site made it sound like that was a possibility and left the future kind of open.
No more Bavarian Auto Recycling, no more Bavarian AutoSport , is there a pattern here ?
Randy
Did not know they closed up. Yes used parts are going to be more difficult to get. Thats why when I see a 320i e21 at pick n pull, I go to get spare backup parts, I got a WUR-071 at P and P for $9.00 or so with both lines and the aluminum heat sink plate with engine securing bolt , tested it a few days ago, works as good as new one,,20/50 psi cold/warm pressure, Cleaned it up with brass brushes--looks brand new.
Did you get rain where you were are at like we did here in Sacramento ? Snow Statewide is 150% above normal,,lol

I wonder what happened? Does not sound like they sold their business. Sounds more like they went bankrupt...

That's what happens when you don't have the money to make payroll.
Yes they went into debt and had to close. Very sad as I attended many show and shines for twenty years or more and like the people and the company.
Sales where down due to Goggle searches and their new Website not being very user friendly. They should have reverse engineered other ones that they where competing with.
Times are changing and the BMW community around here will feel the loss of this Company that should have not went out of business.
