Hey guys I need to buy a wastegate relocation pipe to get my wastegate under the car. I see that SPA has one but I haven't seen how it makes the wastegate sit and where it sits. I know a lot of you guys custom fab your own pipe but unfortunately I don't have access to a welder to try and make my own. Would anybody be willing to sell me one? Thanks.
Are you using a SPA manifold? If I remember correctly their 2 bolt flange is not a standard 38mm flange.
Well then dont even consider using the SPA wastegate pipe because it wont fit.
Unfortunately you are going to have to have someone make it for you or find the tools to make it yourself.
Step one: Buy TIG
Step two: Turbo your e36
Or mig.
Step 1 : buy turbo
Step 2 : buy manifold
Step 3 : ?????
Step 4 : profit
Step 5 : new bottom end bc ringlands
Yes. Nobody makes them.

Yes that is enough amperage. A flux core welder will work to just make a wastegate dump pump. It will look like shit and splatter everywhere but it will make a functional weld. Do your future self a favor though and get a mig machine. You will find it endlessly useful for many years. Look on craigslist for used machines and gas tanks.

Another option is you can cut the pipes and fit them together with tape, and then take it to a welder or exhaust shop and have them weld it for you.
Buying my Tig was the best idea I've ever had. You can get into one now fully ready for less than 1500$
If yer gunna waste moniez on carz ya might az well learn ya some skillz to make all y’allz useful for sumpen.
I bought my AHP China-TIG for about $700 shipped. I’ve had ZERO issues with it.
So far I’ve made a top mount manifold, a stainless downpipe (ran purge of course), welded and fitted intercooler charge piping, and I just finished up a pie cut 3” aluminum exhaust.

Even if this China special takes a dump, I’ve MORE than gotten my money’s worth. I taught myself how to weld by watching YouTube videos and paying attention to the guys on this forum. Once you learn how, you’ll always be looking at stuff like “how can I weld something to that??? Lol

I know it's going to be messy as I've watched a lot of videos on it. I honestly would love to get a mig but I live in an apartment and there would be zero room to place the machine and the gas tank for storage.
Just like this build, I want to learn how to do it properly and then improve with better parts.
The tape idea is very good. For example, would I just buy all straight tubing and cut it at an angle to have it curve?

For sure

Do the pie cuts act as the bends in the exhaust?
It would be easier to buy a couple mandrel bends and cut them as needed.

Yeah I know, I like to do things the hard way, lol. I also bought way more 3” aluminum piping than I needed, so this was a way to use it up, learn how to weld aluminum tubing, and practice making pie cuts.
Yes, the pies are welded together to make a 45 or 90 bend. The cool thing is they can be clocked all over the place to make a bend go up down or sideways.
