Exact Horsepower of 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si (E85)???

I am currently looking at buying a 2007 Z4 3.0si. The VIN is 4USBU53507LX02372. All the sources are pretty close, but wondering what the exact horsepower number is and why the variance?

why the variance?

Temperature, elevation, atmospheric pressure, humidity, dynamometer, tires/tire pressure, fuel, engine to engine, engine oil, trans oil, rear end oil, etc..

They say 255, 258, and 261... Even back to back runs of the same car on the same dyno on the same day will vary back and forth a few HP, especially with heatsoak..
Why don't they all use the same spec? I don't know who gets their numbers where but they are all probably correct..

Not all engines will even make the same power, they are probably + or - 5hp of eachother just being different engines.
A 20,000 mile engine will probably make more power than a 500 mile engine or a 200,000 mile engine because it is in its prime of breakin and wear over the others..

They aren't all the same and conditions aren't all the same. Their is no "exact" HP measurement.
