Time for some work with a magnet on a flex stalk.

Borescopes are nowadays pretty inexpensive and are used in conjunction with your cellphone. One of them would let you see just where in the cylinder the clip went, the better to use the magnet. It might also tell you, if you are really lucky, that the clip isn't in the cylinder at all. 'Course, you'll need them, so the borescope and magnet will help you find the little rascal(s).

Once in a while, a bit of bent wire with a bit of tape on the end can be used to retrieve things, so you have options.

    Glad you got it out.
But how did that clip get loose? I suppose a previous owner pried them off at one time in order to make it loose. You're just supposed to press them in to pull off a plug.

Im gonna assume when the wire boxes were hanging off the clip slipped off cause i had to loosen the clips to get the wire boxes off

And i could see the bottom of the clip in the cylinder so i just bent the bottom off a copper wire and hooked it onto it then pulled up until i could grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers
