Hi everyone. Bill at Headliner Express just got in a new shipment of OEM quality and thickness black headliner material. He and another person actually went to the original mill that made the material in Europe, and had some new material remade, so it took a while. It took over a year for the entire process. As we all know, the OEM thickness material is impossible to find. The shipment came in in February. He just did my headliner in the CSi, and it looks excellent.

Hi Roger this is Bob Ziegler from the BMW CCA now in Eustis. I actually saw your red E 31 being painted at the shop at the Mt. Dora executive airport. My buddy has a two bay space there where he keeps and works on his British Cars. I will be needing to get the headliner replaced in my Burgundy E 24. Will this material work for my car?
Is that the fuzzy velour type?
I think he means the 'Anthracite' velour material - is that correct Roger?
Good news if that's the case.

Maybe you post the question in the original thread in the E31 forum, as Roger is mainly active there, but the material will work also in the E32, that is why I moved a copy to the E32 forum. In case you have a black headliner already in your E32, best is to ask for a sample to compare the structure and the colour. Because there are many nuances in black available, I once got 5 samples from a headliner shop in black.
