Auxiliary Fan Life expectancy and replacement brand

The original Siemens died 3 years ago and was replaced with a NRF 47028 that caused lots of vibration, obviously was not correctly balanced. Changed for Behr Hella - 8EW 009 158-721

I had to replace 2 times, now the 2 year warranty is over and it is dead again.

Any suggestions or issues that may affect durability?

I have seen that the power for speed 1 and 2 is not the same in units tagged as equivalent.

Any recommendations? (AC works fine and extra cold...)

Maybe the Valeo 696058?

That is abnormal wear! Did you also replace the rubber vibration dampers which usually come with a new aux fan? Normally Hella/Behr as well as NRF last much longer.
In 31 years I am on the 2nd aux fan, replaced the original one on my E32 750 after 25 years, I now use an aftermarket one made in Taiwan I bought on Ebay for about $100 since 6 years, no problems at all.
A VDO/BHS Auxiliary Cooling Fan Assembly P/N: 64541392913 VDO/BHS you can get from autohausaz for $110, the VALEO - 696058 is probably double that price. On Osacro Spain they offer it for EUR 183.92
