My car didn't come with the cup holder and coin storage, it instead came with a really basic storage tray. My question is does the cupholder/coin storage fit exactly in the same spot or will I need an entirely new centre console shell?

The bottom cassette is the same, so all you have to do is lift out the storage tray and drop in the cup holder and coin tray.

If you want to use a cup holder in this location it will have to be a pretty narrow cup. If you have a manual transmission the cup may make shifting an issue.

Is eurodivsion.com.au a worthwhile website? Do they actually sell OEM parts or is it a scam? I just received cheap Chinese junk in the mail pretending to be a cupholder and coin tray insert for an E46 and I hate it so much that I'm willing to put down $130 on something that will actually fit in my damn car.

No idea, as I am in Germany. I will be heading to the wreakers tomorrow, and can have a look around for a cup holder and coin tray, what color do you need? I am sure the shipping will be a bit as your location is in the middle of an ocean.

Euro postage tends to be way more reasonable than Yankee post either way. Think it would cost maybe €20 for cupholder/coin tray postage from Germany to Australia whereas from the U.S it would be close to €60.
Black would be good if you're able to, thanks for offering regardless if you find it or not. I appreciate it very much.
