    I want your discarded M52b28

    Mine has cracked head so.......
    Nothing that's been overheated please
I'm near Chicago and willing to travel a few hours. Shipping will almost certainly be cost prohibitive.

I have one. Never been over heated but I suspect it pulled some head bolt threads through the block. I retired it because it pressurized the crank case. I'm confident the head is still good and just needs a stud and insert kit. If you want to drive to MN, I'll give it to ya for some good Chicago micro brew.

Thank you, sounds like a TU engine.
I may take you up on this as my doctor is near you in Rochester and am planning a visit before too long. Would love to see the RX-7 too.

No, do you have something for me?
Sent the old head for a look by another to weld(again) as nothing has materialized yet.

I can get a 2000 528i head tomorrow. Do you need the cams too, or just the head?

It's a dual vanos though, an m52b28tu. I think that's how they desognated those. There is a m54 out there as well, all dual vanos. Let me know.
