Looking to sell my 1999 M3 Convertible in estoril blue. Bought this car in 2005 with a previously salvaged title. Original damage was to the front driver's side, when I purchased it the sub frame and body work had already been repaired. The car had 45,000 miles and was my daily driver until I recently bought a newer car with room for a family of 5. I worked from home the last 8 years so not many miles put on recently (maybe 2000 a year) giving us about 120,000 miles currently.
The car is listed as an automatic, but shortly after purchasing it I installed the Zionsville Autosport 6 speed manual conversion with ZF transmission. Other upgrades include:
Bilstien coilover suspension with H&R springs with adjustable rear spring perches and fully adjustable front. K&N intake and filter. AC Schnitzer Exhaust. Bavsound stage 1 speaker upgrade with MB quart speakers and replacement midrange speakers (I have the crossovers as well for aftermarket amp not installed).
The interior driver and passenger seat aren't in great shape. The only bit of rust on the whole car is a small section under the driver's side tail light. Convertible top works, but needs a little help. Completely replace the top a few years ago and it's nearly new. Also have the hardtop in body matching estoril with redone black suede headliner. I am trying to get a feeler for what this car might be worth. It is a super rare combo, especially considering the 6 speed manual transmission (which you have to drive to really appreciate). My searched show maybe worth around 6 or 7 thousand. With the upgrades and all that I was thinking maybe 7 or 8 would be fair, with the hard top which seems to sell for $1k.
Thanks for the feedback.

Some more pics, including of the problem areas (seats, rust spot), would be very informative I think. I've just started my search, but this looks interesting.

FYI it has a black convertible top now, not blue like in my signature.

I think you're in the ballpark, the big detraction is the salvage title and the rust, but I would figure that you should be able to get at least $6500 for it.
looking to bump this as Summer is basically here! I will be creating a newer more detailed post with more photos, or I can send direct if anyone is interested.

Did you have any luck selling it? I will be in the market for a 4-seat, fun convertible at the end of the summer....
Not sold yet. Actually just washed it and took some photos to potentially post it on some local marketplaces.
Looking to get $6,000 for it including the hardtop.
Would be a great car to button up the interior on and daily drive, or rip out and convert to a track car.

Looks like a nice car, although for some reason I can't see your interior pictures.
I'd love an e36, although first I have to sell my truck (2000 Silverado). Send me a PM if you want to talk more about it?
