    Rear cosole

My 2003 Z4 rear console door is stuck in the closed position.
How can I get it open without breaking stuff.
I searched the forum but could not find an answer.
    Thanks

    Found this online...

    Locking/unlocking

The storage compartment between the backrests
is automatically locked and unlocked with
    the central locking system.
    Releasing manually
In the event of an electrical malfunction of the
central locking system, you can manually
unlock the storage compartment between the
    seats.

    1.
Pull on the cord in the rear luggage compartment
    panel.
    The storage compartment between the
    seats unlocks
    2. Press button; see arrow 1.

This cord is in the center of the front wall of the trunk.

Thin screwdriver pushed in the crack below the release button push and lift and it opened up.
The trunk release was not opening it
    Now i can replace it.
    Thanks
