BMW 328i odd issue, don't know where to start

So i recently tried my hand at replacing the oil pan gasket on my N51 328i, needless to say the process went smooth and everything was fine until around 120 miles of driving.

The car had developed some type of tick which i will add a video below of what it sounds like, before long i would hear surging from the engine i was only a few minutes from home so i drove it into my driveway and turned it off. It was late so i left it until the morning.

Cut to the morning, i begin to turn on the car and it starts to surge like crazy, engine is shaking way too much and exhaust is firing like crazy.

    Compression Test Results

    Cylinder 1 - 190
    Cylinder 2 - 190
    Cylinder 3 - 160
    Cylinder 4 - 190
    Cylinder 5 - 0
    Cylinder 6 - 170

    Update :

Removed last piece of flap from cylinder 5

    Cylinder 5 - 210 PSI

Car only has a slight misfire could be due to a vacuum leak somewhere.

    Video of tick

Any ideas on what this could be?

TLDR; Engine shaking too much and engine is popping constantly.

Dude! Is there any oil in that engine? That sounds like a fatal case of rod knock.
    Are you gonna eat that?

Lol, Yes. There is 100% oil in the engine. Filled it myself

Just ran codes, Getting the following

    1. DME: Combustion misfires, Cylinder 3
    2. DME: Combustion misfires, Cylinder 4
    3. DME: Combustion misfires, Cylinder 5
    4. DME: Combustion misfires, Cylinder 6
    5. DME: Combustion misfires, Several Cylinders

Which would explain why the engine is running like this.

Well, the whistling sounds like a severe vacuum leak, which will cause the misfires, but so will a lot of other things. That knocking is really scary. No other codes? What scanner are you using?

I wouldn't say that its "knocking" more of like gasses exiting very quickly from the exhaust.

    Using ISTA for pulling codes.

    Also received the following :

    (Cats are bad, possibly)
    DME : Catalytic-converter Conversion
    DME : Catalytic-converter Conversion 2

DME : Variable intake system, servomotor: activation
DME : Variable intake system, self-diagnosis

DME : Air-Mass sensor, signal (I Disconnected the sensor)
    DME: Intake-air temperature sensor, signal

Need the actual codes to do any meaningful diagnosis, but that Valvetronic motor code is probably at the heart of it.

Managed to check out the DISA valve, took off the top next to the intake.

When i took it out the flap and pin where not there, which makes me think that the pin & flap that attaches to the DISA either fell in or someone who previously owned the car did a "flap delete".
Gonna remove the intake manifold to see if i can check the other DISA and see if i can find anything else.

Update : Managed to take off intake manifold and saw part of the DISA flap in the valves. Managed to carefully remove the broken pieces and luckily I found the metal pin that attaches to flap still attached (hanging by a thread if I may add).

Nice find, that explains the awful racket. Hopefully you don't have a bunch of mechanical damage.

    Hopefully not!

Managed to safely take out the broken pieces, luckily with the metal pin still attached. Found one piece in cylinder 3 and another in cylinder 5.

Waiting on new DISA from FCP, took out the secondary DISA under the intake manifold and made sure it was all there. Wasn't able to move the flaps manually so this makes me think its functional.

Do you think i should replace it?

So finally got some time and replaced the DISA valve (Genuine Part).

Started the car and it's still running poorly with fluctuating idle and ticking, though not as bad.

Should also note when taking out the oil pan I found a broken bolt head laying in the oil.

So I pulled the Spark Plugs and noticed that all 6 plugs show signs of carbon fouling and running a rich fuel mixture. Would this amount of buildup explain the misfires i'm seeing?

Had the car for service a few months ago at the dealer, could have sworn I put in NGK plugs instead of Bosch plugs, they must've changed them.

I plan on replacing these and see if the idle and misfires improve, will run some vacuum leak tests and try and figure out why its running rich.

So I've finally ha some time to do a compression test, Not so good results.

    Compression Test Results

    Cylinder 1 - 190
    Cylinder 2 - 190
    Cylinder 3 - 160
    Cylinder 4 - 190
    Cylinder 5 - 0
    Cylinder 6 - 170

Looks like the disa flap caused damage to Cylinder 5 and 3. 6 Looks low as well..

So i've managed to get ahold of an inspection camera. Removed the manifold and look down into the intake ports.

Found another piece of the DISA valve. Removed it, put everything back together and redid a compression test.
100 PSI on cylinder 5, considerably better than 0 however i'm thinking the intake valves on cylinder 5 are damaged from it.

Will be pulling the head and inspecting them. Don't think new engine is needed, Yet...

    UPDATE:

Charged the battery for a bit and rechecked compression. Cylinder 5 is now at 210 and holding compression nicely. Only thing now is some misfires. I hear an air leak somewhere.
