1995 525i, car spend all of its life in TX and CA so no rust. M50 2.5, and Getrag G260 manual transmission, 3.23 LSD rear end. Everything works, including heated front seats (no seat lean). Low miles for the year (154k) Lots of recent work within the last year:

New Radiator and coolant flush (comes with spare radiator)
New front suspension (upper and lower control arms, shocks, mounts, tie rod ends)
New fuel pump assembly and filter
New tires
New front and rear brakes (rotors, sensors and pads)
New plugs and coil packs
Fresh oil change and valve cover gasket
Bilstein shocks on the back
New battery

Cons:
Drivers seat has some tears
Car had a crappy repaint on roof and hood, so its peeling now
Couple of scratches, one small (baseball sized) dent on front p/s fender from deer
Bumper trim cracked a couple places
SRS light is on, from wrong fuse being pulled

Car runs like a scalded jackrabbit, it pulls hard and still knocks down 28 mpg. You can 1. drive it as a reliable dd and not worry about parking lot scratches or rock chips, 2. Repaint it, repair the interior and have a classy 4 eyed BMW, or 3. Drive it home, pull the motor and tranny for a m50 swap into an E30.
