Brake bleeding issue with E53, 2005 BMW X5

I had all the rear bushings and link kits replaced on a 2005 BMW X5 (E53) last week and, at the same time, they found that both brake lines were near leaking so they replaced them.
They re-align the truck and now the driving is back to '' FUN '' again.
The main problem is they are pulling their head trying to '' BLEED '' the braking system for the past two days because the truck now brake like SH..T.
THey activate the procedure according to BMW, (autobleed the ABS autopomp then they press 5 times on the brake pedal ( bleeder open ) and then close the bleeders ( on all 4 wheels )
It's better BUT the feeling of the brake pedal is now at all what it's been before
Pedal is spongy like hell and they are lost.

Sounds like you need to find a better shop. Bleeding brakes is not that difficult.

You could probably bleed it the old fashion way with two people

So now that they messed up the bleed procedures, this is what they should have done in the beginning:

    1) Bleed like normal, do not turn the trunk on, otherwise you will have to do #2
    2) Perform the bleed function in INPA.

There is no need to go straight to #2 unless they turn on the vehicle. The only time I had to do the bleed function in INPA is to replace the ABS valves/pump

+1. You only need to use the computer to bleed the brakes when you change the ABS hydraulic unit, or the master cylinder.....or you have the ignition on when you take way too long changing the brake hoses.

Now, IF they got air in the ABS hydraulics, I will say that the procedure doesn't usually work with just one try; it takes multiple cycles, until the fluid is coming out with zero bubbles. I've never been able to accomplish the bleed (after swapping a master cylinder or ABS hydraulic unit) without following the procedure at least twice, with another tech in the air, pressing the brake pedal as directed, while I work the bleed screws.

But changing the hoses doen't require computer bleeding unless someone screwed up.

I have a hard time not doing the work myself but I took your advice and found a place on the link within 15 miles from my house.
