These will probably garner less outrage than the $94k M Coupe, but it will be interesting to see how they do. Mileage ranges from 28k to 138k miles.

Well, S52 roadie prices are about to go BAT shit crazy.

Shame they are the wrong colors
Partly kidding but those are not colors that will fetch top dollar
At any rate I need to get myself another m roady before they all get too expensive

Can't see the black one going for more than $14k. In fact my guess is 12,900.
The yellow one with the factory top and a lot less miles has a shot at $20k.
Seems like I overestimated the black one slightly. $11.5k.

The 28k mile one is up to nearly $12k with 4 days left. I'm guessing it will top out at $21k (using Price is Right no overbid rules).
Regarding subframes, I stumbled upon this blog where 2 guys install the Forbes kit without prior welding experience. http://www.bimmerbrothers.com/blog/
Seems time consuming, but less daunting after reading their blog.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would motor about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.
That might be my plan, but then I'll have a 2.8 Coupe worth too little to sell and no space for a 3rd. I think I need to move to the burbs where I could afford a much bigger lot (aka garage).
And why outrage? Any owners here should be thrilled if prices skyrocket. I do have 911 outrage. I almost bought a mint 996TT several years ago for just over 30k. Try finding one now.

The yellow 28k mile hardtop roadster is not doing well so far. Only $12,750 with one day left.
Wouldn't put too much into that. Gotta wait till the end. Especially the way BAT works with no real end until the bidding actually stops.

I was surprised, Nathan, that this one didn't get closer to $25k.
Maybe pale yellow isn't universally desirable.
It's not my favorite color. It might have had too many miles for a serious collector, but too few miles for someone who wants a driver.
My car is silver (which I like), but I would have preferred oxford green, estoril blue, or cosmos black. You can't always get your color when shopping for a used car.
I'm really surprised that the 138k mile yellow car is at $6500 with one day left.
I hope I'm not bagging on a forum member's car but...
The spot welds in the trunk are actually gone, like black holes and the upper strut mounts under the hood don't look correct. Not sure those are M struts.

Interesting. I rarely drive my ‘02 M roadster and so it’s nice to follow along with prices. It has 59k on the odometer now and proabbly gets 1-2k a year of driving.
Nice to see the prices haven’t fallen at least. I probably paid too much for mine but it’s in good shape.

In a year or two when I eventually move to a bigger place my goal is to purchase an S50 or S52 to refresh and then swap into my coupe once the motor has gone at least 200k. (another 40k to go as of this week) I want to try and maximize my abilities with the suspension and driver abilities before eventually making more power. I could care less about resale because I never plan to sell but I will try and make the swap as OEM+ as possible
That yellow one is questionable. One of the service records shows "Engine was 3 quarts low on oil", the totally trashed spotwelds in the trunk, the plastic around the steering column not fitting together right, the OBD port door is missing, it was towed one time because the serpentine belt tore apart, cooling system was blown one time (did it overheat?), ...
Way too many red flags for me personally.
138k mile car went to $7400, reserve not met. The owner needs to find a decent shop to address the issues with the car and stop taking it to Midas! Those receipts are downright scary.
