First off thank you folks in advance for any information in regards to the question.
I understand that I need to reset the adaptation (shift points) after fluid change service and any transmission work, solenoids, rebuild mechatronics, etc.
If I follow the adaptation sequence there are variables to driving speed and distances needed sometimes multiple times.
How have you folks that have done this completed it on local roads? I’m trying to figure out a road that I can accomplish the correct speeds and which gear I should be in during the configuration.

Reset it and just drive the car, it will shift funny for a day or two, but it will eventually hit all the correct adaptations. No special care needed. Only reason to run the full cycle is when you are troubleshooting and want to speed up the process.
Thanks for the info.
