    Factory radio removal and aftermarket

I need some help. I am going to install an aftermarket radio, but I need some help on how to remove the factory radio. I found some videos and information but the radios on the videos have taps on the sides, this one doesn't. In addition does anyone know were to get a wire Hardness

You should first take out your radio and give us u picture of current harness.

    No e30s, again :(
it looks like the ring around the face might pop off of that radio and then you should see some slots for a tool or bar to fit in, or little allen head screws to turn.
    No e30s again.

    This.

It will slide out once you insert tools in the side slots.

The harness is sold by make/model and allows your new unit to snap-in without cutting any wires. Just attach it to your new unit before you install from the comfort of your home.

Not sure about all E30s, but my cabrio has less depth than many modern head units. Make sure to check that. Crutchfield phone rep is very helpful for this kind of stuff.
