Hey fellas,
Just wanted to reach out to my fellow community to get an understanding from your opinions what the beloved IX market is
currently turning out.
I've owned a 88' White/Cardinal Couple 5spd for about 7 years now 4 of which she's been off the road and would like to get feed back as to how I should move forward.
Knowing they're becoming less frequently spotted on the road, its hard to decide which route to take..
Mine being a typical daily driven Northeast model the body has the usual cancer issues they all suffer from..
I've replaced the battery tray floor and other problematic spots buts there's still more than plenty of work to be done!!
That being said, is it even worth fixing up or should I just cut my losses and sell it for a resto/parts car to another Enthusiast!?
Feel like their value should significantly grow in the next few years to come, but with summer approaching it's about the time I've got to relocate and don't think I'll have the time or attention it requires to complete such an undertaking.
So.. questions as fallows..
What are these models going for in such condition?
Should I just stick it in storage?
Is anyone interested in a Running driving project?
Where do you plan to relocate?
somewhere in the tri-state area hopefully! Family and friends are in NY.. but who knows? open to what the universe may have in mind!
