Question Fuel Leak on left side of tank

I had a fuel smell every time I filled up my car so after searching here I ordered the O-ring for the sender and replaced it. Things are better inside the car but I do get the outside smell when I fill it still so I got under and noticed that there is a stain coming down on the front of the tank. If I remember correctly there are two hoses that go to the venting system and charcoal canister in this area. It looks like the tank has to come down some to in order to reach them.
Has anyone done this without removing anything else? And if you have, how much did you loosened the straps? Do I remove the left side along with the side bolt and loosen the right one with a jack under the tank?
Just trying to understand the job from the collective wisdom on this site!

I had a leak on a hose forward from the driver side port some years back. I believe I just removed the side bolt and one side of the strap on that side but I may have loosened the other side as well. Just don't recall. The tank is not going to drop very far because of the drive shaft. I mostly remember it being a pain to replace the hose but I got 'er done.
