One prob I'm finding is all the local performance shops I called are either no longer in the E36 business or simply do not want to perform the iffy emissions work in fear of crossing some lines. I'm no stranger to working with cars but I'm not an experienced mechanic either. So taking on the more involved work myself - while fun to think I can handle it - worries me some too. I love the car as is but it's capable of so much more and i'd love to help her get there. CA really is too restrictive. Decisions decisions. You guys are awesome thanks!!
Talk to Brett @Msportparts (braymond141). He is in CA and can get you squared away with a CARB compliant Dinan S/C setup if that's the route you want to take.
