Call me stupid, but I cannot find whats the part number for E38 front and rear coil springs.
From what I have read on the internet there is a spring table, but where do I find it?
Also if someone would be kind to look for spring part numbers for my car it would be much appreciated.
VIN - DA63048
Yes...you will need to find someone that has a working copy of the BMW ETK...or you can simply call your local BMW dealership's PARTS DEPT (not the service department) and have the last 7 digits of your VIN ready (to give to them). Also know how your car is optioned....and the parts clerk will be able to give you the correct 11 digit BMW part nbr for the coil springs you need. You can also ask them for a price quote as well as the part nbrs...then take the part nbrs given and do a google search to find other vendors (and BMW dealerships) that sell that same part.
I used to have a copy of the ETK...but it was on my old work CPU that got carted away over a decade or more ago. And as my employer's IT security has increased...they put the cuffs on being able to upload personal applications on the employers CPU. My old 1997 e38 740iL was used to find the info below:
