I have a friend with a Euro airbox I want to buy, but the best shipping rate he can find is £80, and I'm only paying £50 for the airbox in the first place.
Anyone have any good sources for shipping a 7 kilo parcel from the UK to the US?

That are already the cheapest rates to the US by Royal Mail for a 7kg parcel, w/o tracking: Parcelforce Worldwide globalvalue , 5-9 days delivery aim, £88.85.

Yeah I ship a lot internationally and thats a pretty good deal. Your issue here is size not weight. They maaay be able to ship it a slower method via boat but then you are talking months for delivery in some cases

Thanks guys. That's about what we were seeing.
I decided to let it go. I'm getting ready to do the 3.5" MAF / injector upgrade, hence looking at the euro airbox, but I also plan to do the RHD ITBs at some point in the future, and I'm very NOT into doing things twice. I love keeping it factory, but I decided it makes more sense to figure out a solution I can reuse with the ITBs someday than to go to all this effort with the euro airbox.

Just sold mine yesterday for $250 shipped with an 806 MAF. Too bad you didn’t catch it first.
