My 328i has a big problem right now. It shows at least 10 error codes. Also, the engine is cranky but won't start. Some of them I even don't know how to deal with. Can someone give me a hand please? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
1. Secondary air system flow too low CY 1-3 & 4-6 : Should I change air pump, valve, or something else?
2. EVAR Shut off valve stuck closed: Totally no idea what to do
3. Catalyst efficiency below threshold CY 1-3 : No idea what to do (change Oz sensor?)
4. EWS Signal : No idea what to do
5. Misfire #5: I already changed spark plugs and wires. Anything else I need to do?

How old is your battery and what is it’s health, check fluid level and add distilled water as required. Charge over night.

If your battery is healthy, clear the codes and see what returns and address them.
If SAP codes persist, obtain a SAP simulator or replace the pump and the valve. Generally, the valve fails (open) and allows exhaust gasses to pass into the pump, contaminating the bearings.
EVAR System can be checked/cleaned. Start under the hood by removing the valve by the manifold and cleaning it with a spray carb cleaner and a blast of compressed air. Next check the line from the under hood/manifold to the trunk is clear. The line runs to the charcoal canister under the spare tire. Remove the valve at the canister and blow compressed air thru that line.
Clean the valve at the charcoal canister, same as above. Valves pull off the ‘hard line’ with a little effort, and slip right back on.
Text the function of both valves by applying 12v power, each valve should have an audible ‘click’ when power is supplied.
The watch dog codes are generally an indication that the pre-catalytic converter O2 sensor(s) is not responding correctly. These are 100K mile replacement items.
EWS signal?
Miss-fire can be plugs, could be a fuel injector, could be a coil.
What wires did you replace when you replaced the plugs?
The coil extenders grow old over time and develop micro cracks that leak voltage causing a short/mis-fire.
All these codes together ‘smell’ like a marginal battery.

Thanks for all your help. The battery is new just purchased from Wal-mart one month ago. Besides, I did clear the codes and wait for the response now. So far, I am waiting for the parts of Solenoid and Camshaft sensor (both were too old). Let me install both of them and check the code again. I will keep posting questions if I can't resolve.
