    compression test '78 E23

Want to do compression test on my '78 733i, looking at compression test tools ... how do you know it will fit the spark plug hole on this old car? Do you have to disconnect fuel line, injectors before doing the compression test?

Most compression testers I have seen come with 2 different sized adapters, to work with the 2 standard size plug wells.

What part of Oregon are you in? It would be cool to meet you and see your car at one of the local events this summer!

Bonanza, near Klamath Falls. Are you in Oregon?

Yes, I am in the Corvallis area. K Falls is pretty far south! We have a nice classic euro meet once a month in Eugene if you ever felt like taking a road trip.

I will keep that in mind, it would be fun to see the other cars. Are there quite a few who attend?

Usually at least 3-4 old simmers, double that in the summer. Plus an eclectic mix of other old euro stuff

I have another question. When you need parts say something difficult to find in the usual places, where do you go?

For old BMW stuff I snoop around between ECS Tuning and Blunttech. Walloth and Nesch or Maximilian Importing for hard to find euro parts.

thanks, finding the parts needed for these old cars seems to be the biggest challenge
