    Anybody have M-Pars on their wagon? -- Show me your wheels!

    I moved to my new home in Memphis from a small town in Kansas. IWhile I was in Kansas, I saw an E39 Wagon with M-pars. I kept trying to find the owner to get the story. I wanted to know if he had the staggered versions and the size and how he liked them on his wagon. I thought they looked really cool. I'm really considering getting different wheels. But, I don't want to do aftermarket and I'm curious what other styles look cool on our cars.

    Anybody care to share some pics of E39s with other OEM wheel styles. My style 29 seem a little boring and tired.

    I had M-Pars back when I had a 540it, they were the E38 size ones that are a little wider in the back. I had them bored out to the E39 hub size and ran them with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Such a good combination.

    Oh I’m not worried about the criticism. I work in the industry and wanted to help promote the shop I work in. I can have them back to oem if I want but they’re replicas anyway so why not. I’m also in the middle of a ls swap and I’m sure people will love it hate that as well.

    That looks sweet. Mine is going in the wagon. Aluminum gen 4 truck motor with cam head work 6l80 out of caprice. But I won’t go on. Don’t want my red wheels to highjack the thread.

    I was watching an Enginebuilders video on MotorTrend last night. They had a 5.3L from the junkyard, put in better rods, pistons, cam, turbo, and intake manifold. They got 816HP and IIRC over 600ft-lbs of torque.

    Op if you start to look for mpars make sure you know what they came off of. E38 mpars have the smaller bore size and need to machined out. E39 mpars are harder to find though but will obviously fit and replicas you just have to make sure it comes with the right bore size. This is my first e39 with e38 mpars on it. next to what was my moms e38 sport

    That looks like a RoyalRot E38! I had a 2001 E38 740iL Sport in RoyalRot with MPars. I loved that car. But, somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

    That it is. And unfortunately after 6 years of ownership my little brother who at the time had his license for a week, took it out when my mom was out and t boned a f150 with it. She almost killed him.

    Mine's not a touring however I still have the originals that came on the car when I bought it back in Sept 2000.
    The spare is also an M66.

    That car is stunning...!!

    The wagoooon was the same way...but it came with square 66's...and the spare was a 66 as well. I put the staggered set on it rather quickly 'cause it begged for those fat rear tires. I kept that set for the '97 when I sold it. Jojo got the best of the gaggle of 66's I had when we did the deed, including the original conti-sport on the spare...lol.. Heck, I had 3 sets of 66's...!! down to two now...

    Check the classifieds section, I have a set of the ultra rare 19" replica's with the deep lip on the rears. The ones that Greg E Fresh has pictured above
