    Ecu flashing

Hi everyone! I have e87 120d . I tried remap it trough obd port with fgtech v54 clone which failed and car wont start anymore.
I want to flash ecu with winkfp. Only problem is inpa or ista wont detect ecu ( no communication) and i dont know which dde version to choose or zusb number.
    I will apreciate any help.
    Thanks

    Is this edc17 or edc16?

Do you have a backup of the ecu file?

Ecu is Edc16c35. And i dont have any backup files, just obd read . I thought i could use winkfp to load factory data for this ecu.

So it happened when trying to write? Did you have battery support? For edc16 I have used MPPS and Galletto v54.

You probably will not be able to recover via OBD or with winkfp anymore.
Edc16 is easy to recover with BDM, so if you post your original file and all the software versions, I am sure we can find a full BDM read of the flash.

Yes it happened when writing. I tried bdm but my fgtech wouldn,t connect to ecu. I ordered another fgtech which is newer version 0475 because many people have trouble with 0386 version of this tool. I will post my original file .
But also i was reading couple forums where someone made same mistake as i did and recovered ecu with loading factory data with winkfp.
    Thanks for helping me.

Does that mean you have recovered it? Today is my first day off in a while, finally can take a look.

No i could not recover it. Just found a cause why my remap went bad.
Tried winkfp but it gives me error 2020. There is many people who recover them with winkfp. Not sure what is my problem, could be connection in ediabas or something.

Hello. Just an update. I bought second hand ecu with same bosch and bmw part numbers. But software number is different. I tried to align cas with dme but it wont let me do it . Ista says -incorrect start value during start value matching. My problem now is that i cant read bdm from my old ecu. Bdm port is burned from soldering.
So my next plan is to find software with same number for this ecu.
Question is, does it matter if i get same sw but from different ecu hw number. Thanks for any help.

There's a chance there might be a small eeprom which has the EWS/CAS ISN in it, these need to match before you can do any rolling code resets with ISTA/DIS

Bought eeprom programmer. Next step desolder eeprom from old ecu and read data from this and put it in to new ecu.
And yes thats why i cant sinchronize ecu and cas . Because these eeproms dont mach . Thanks for helping
