    Moon E46 328i upper driveshaft on e36 328i driveshaft

I was wondering if I could possibly fit the upper part of an e46 driveshaft onto the base of an e36 driveshaft. Realoem doesn’t display the individual halves as parts. I was going to fit the e46 flange half of the driveshaft and connect it to the 328i driveshaft and see if I could run it to connect my 323 + zf trans to the diff.

People have mixed and matched DS halves before, sometimes to get a length to fit a custom project. If you can find the white balance dots, line them up. Let us know if it fits. I would guess an E46 is longer but don’t know whether the difference is in the front half or rear half.
