Does anyone have any experience with this? I saw online it would work for scanning my abs light but it wont. I guess i have to use the 20 pin right? anyone know if I can just use a 20 pin adapter on the scanner to read abs?

I have it and use it for my Z4 but I don't think it will have the same diagnostic level with e36s. It may require the 20 pin adapter. Having said that, my instrument cluster has the airbag light on but the scanner does not recognize a code and will not clear it. For the money it does a lot, but it seems kind of finicky.
