After lurking for years, this is indeed my first post...... it's time to sell my E36 M3. Here are some details:
Very Good condition (looks close to brand new), 5-speed, Arctic Silver exterior, black leather interior, sunroof, spoiler, 6-CD trunk-mounted changer. As far as I can tell, the car is completely stock. Everything works, including the ASC, heated seats, and Multi-information display. I bought the car with 48,000 miles on it and have owned it for 11 trouble-free years. Most of the 32,000 miles that I’ve put on the car have been highway miles – including 3 driving vacations of 2,000 miles each. The car has never given me even a minor problem.
Shortly after purchase, I serviced the cooling system by replacing the water pump, thermostat and housing, and coolant. I also replaced the brake fluid, spark plugs and tires. Since then,
- At 72,4xx miles, a new fuel expansion tank (common cause of P0442 engine code on E36 M3 models)
- At 72,5xx miles, new slotted and cross-drilled rotors and Pagid brake pads, both front and rear
- At 77,9xx, new rear tires (Sumitomo HTR ZIII which match front tires) which still have 9/32 tread left (7/32 on fronts).
- At 78,3xx miles, new intake boot (fixed minor cold-start stumble due to a small tear in old boot)
- At 78,3xx miles, new OEM rear shocks
- At 80,5xx miles, replacement battery
Known issues:
- The two rear wheels have very minor curb rash (the front two wheels look perfect)
- Minor weathering of rubber trim at the base of the C-pillars on both sides. All other rubber trim and weatherstripping looks good.
- Some “character marks” on driver’s seat, mostly on outside bolster. No rips or tears. Passenger seat looks great, back seats look like they were hardly ever sat on
- Radio display intermittently fades – can’t see the radio station number – but radio works perfectly. Sometimes the display is fine.
- Missing rubber jacking pad under left rear – I ordered a replacement but it doesn’t fit quite right.
- Very minor scuffing under the front valance on both corners. Can only be seen by lying under car or when car is up on a lift.
The car has been garage kept since I’ve owned it and has had regular oil changes (Castrol Syntec) at 5000 mile intervals on average. The car has no dings, dents, or scratches but does have the normal minor stone pits on the front fascia and leading edge of the hood. It has a current PA inspection. The owner’s manual, original BMW leather documentation pouch, and a sales brochure are also included.
The car has been gently used (no tracking, etc) and adult owned (I'm in my '60s) for the last 11 years and can be seen/driven in Philadelphia area. If interested, I also have a lift in the garage for viewing the underside.

Bump.
You may want to fix your pictures. You didn’t actually post any.
OP, one way to share photos with the forum is to load the images to an Photo Hosting Site, such as Flicker, Google Photos, 500px, etc. Avoid using Photo Bucket or ImgUr.
Once uploaded to a hosting site, copy the link (the http://hosting_site.com/your_pic.jpg) of your photo to your forum message.
Ask if you have questions!

Thanks. Clearly I still don't quite understand the posting of pictures. I did host the pictures on my google photos account then, as suggested, copied the link of each photo onto this post (since deleted) but the end result was when clicking on the link it required a sign on to my account. Not the desired result. I'll explore further.
Meanwhile, if anyone is interested enough to want pictures...... let me know your email address and I'll gladly send them along.

Still for sale. If you think it's priced too high, feel free to say so and make a reasonable offer.

Another car on the way..... I have an incentive to make some garage space.
Any interest before I widen the net and post to more general sites with a lower price?????
