    Spare a Hazard Switch Anyone?

Anyone local to the Elk Grove/Sacramento region with a spare hazard switch for a post-facelift e21?
A valiant attempt was made to fix my faulty one but upon trying it out it no longer worked so I’m without a hazard and turn signals.

Main reason I ask is so I can pick it up today or tomorrow. Rather than wait days for shipping. Thanks.

You by a new one from the dealer keep the invoice, the parts are warrantied for 2 years, the hazard switch I think will break in two years, they never redesigned it

Yeah I know. I was just avoiding the dealer. I was trying my luck at going local so I don’t have to wait days.

in the meantime remove the hazard switch and put a jumper wire between #3 and #7 or #4 and #7. doing this will power up the turn signals without the hazard function.
