My driveshaft is in need of a new center ujoint. Obviously, it already has a slip yoke on the front.
Nobody wants to touch it.
Do I go at this alone?
Buy a good "back half" stock 540i driveshaft and just put my front half on it?

I think I'm just going to take the shop press to the Ujoint and see if I can get it out. It'll either come out or it wont, either way, looks like I'll be needing to have another driveshaft cut anyway.

I know someone who has used quarters as spacers to hell get the depth right. He welded the quarters in place as the replacement for the original stakes.
