Interesting, Does everyone see anything at this link the OP linked?
    E60 https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/31112282957/

I get nothing for all of them, then I get sent to some other sales page

Its because the Forum has viglink as a sponsor. It takes regular links and sends you to viglink that has advertisement in hopes of making you buy something similar.

    .

this front cross member is lift point. use proper sized jack. then jack stands can be placed under the side hockey pucks. buy not just any jack , but one low enough-less than about 5 inches- for clearance. also about 2 feet long for easy jacking/lifting with handle and 2 ton weight is enough.

The E39 pad did not work without modification.

-I drilled out the hole of the pad for an M8 allen head bolt and used a step drill to open the hole for the bolt head to fit through.
-Grinded down the lip so its completely flat.
-installed a nutsert(same as x-brace) to the hole in the center of the front subframe.

    Nice!

But now I need to hear the story about your brake cooling ducts...or at least I'm assuming that's what those orange things are.

They connect to couplers on the front bumper undertray. Makes it easier to remove/install front bumper.

Not to discredit your work, it looks very nice. But could this same result not be achieved by putting a hockey puck on my jack before raising it to the cross member?
