E36 Euro Cluster Rev Range modification.

I have an e36 with a euro cluster and I’m making a custom face with a 9k tach similar to the z3m cluster. I’m wondering if anyone has ever messed with the eeprom inside to change the scaling of the tach. I’m not sure how I would code it but if someone could walk me through it or do it for me that would be awesome. Any advice would be helpful! Thank you in advance!
