    Indicator return part

    Hello.

My indicator plastic switch is broken of so my indicators won't auto turn off.

Can you just replace the clear white plastic catch from another unit

I have another part car and it's switch is OK but everything soldered on or does that plug from harness come off? To get to plastic switch?
Or have to replace whole unit?

Did it break when you removed the steering wheel?
I had the same problem on my E32. Had 3 cpl. lever/stalks on stock, none fitted 100%. So I removed the old one, drilled the rivets open from the casing where this small plastic pin is inside, did the same with another spare one, swopped the pin, closed the housing with some small bolts with nuts, works since 10 years already. You can also DIY make such a pin from a piece of plastic to reshape it.

You can remove the cpl. unit for the repair, there is a wire loom on the unit and a plug, here a sample pic https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E34-Tur...-/322402162331
