    Rebuilt SMG

I Have a 2004 Z4 with SMG, 100K on the clock. Went in for transmission fluid to be changed today, not SMG fluid. Mechanic noticed that it has a slight leak from the SMG, on one of the solenoids. Couple of questions, is there a place to check the fluid level of the SMG? Is a small leak with no other symptoms work doing the whole swap for a new pump? Last, I found a place online, BBA re-manufacturing that will rebuild my unit, they do warranty for life. Has anyone used them?

I got lucky, it turns out that my leak is from the overflow reservoir cap!!! Also for anyone who cannot figure out where it is , it resides on the passenger side of the transmission, behind a heat shield. So you have to be under the car to see it.....
