Hi, I have a 2006 bmw 330I n52 e90 has 173,000 miles automatic that I over revved and now it cranks but it doesn't start so i may have bent some valves or maybe just threw the timing off somehow maybe skipped the chain ? Idk. I Already did compression test and it failed. I'll also be performing a leak down test and checking the valves with a borescope but I want to get inside and check for damage so my question is- what are the main things I should worry about changing while I have the head off ? Besided the obvious damage components- not looking to do a major rebuild my first step is to just get the car running again.
Thanks,
Joe.
Coolant hoses and pipes, CCV & attending hoses, oil filter housing gasket and vanos oil hose. Clean idle control valve, inspect intake bellows.
