Thinking of upgrading my nav/audio system. I am happy with the current system, but I would like to have a backup camera that displays in the current screen.
That is what I am looking for... see many on ebay/amazon, but would like to know if anyone has done this already, and if so... how difficult was it?
I am considering the Avin system. www.avinusa.com it keeps all the factory controls but its an android system and can add apple car play. It will allow for an aftermarket back up camera also. I am used to having a back up camera so I will likely go for this. It might be a few months before I get it though.

The Avin system is on sale for 399!
yeah, but after I configure what I want its like $600. I could probably save and get the Apple car play dongle elsewhere. My car currently doesn't have any imputs aside from a CD changer and DVD cant connect my phone though. Using a Bluetooth FM transmitter right now, which works but I really want to update this system.

Is there a way to hook up a backup cam, and have it display on the existing system in the car?
I am OK with the nav, and audio setup as it is.
I have only had my 650 for not even a week yet. Not sure on that. I would guess maybe if the 5 series had one the parts may retro fit.
