E39 528 Engine Wiring Harness (what are these connectors for?)

Hello,
I bought an engine from a 2000 528 complete with wiring harness.
I've removed the harness from the engine, labelling eah connector as I went along.
The connectors labelled A-E in the pic below however were already disconnected.
Does anyone know what they are for?
Also, does anyone know what harness I need to add the OBD2 port to the ECU?

Pretty sure all of those connectors are for parts inside the DME box.
Cant you compare it to your car?
Will look up OBD2 later today.

I don't own a BMW, just the engine that I'm dropping in a kit car hence the head scratching.

A kit car? What ya building?
I'm also building one too, a '33 Ford with an LS3.

At least D and E goes to the ECU box, both just connects to a cable. Probably from inside the car
