Looking for advice. Rear ended about 6 months ago. Had to get new battery and red battery cable because car would not start. After, everything worked fine except the leg extension on the seat would not lock back, it would only fully extend. the collision company sent the work out to a company down the road to fix. After I got the car back I noticed a parking light malfunction and a cruise control malfunction. Funny thing is the parking light is fine and cruise control works perfectly, but head unit is stuck on "Aux out" and bluetooth stuck on loading symbol (the Gear symbol). I cannot get it to change. I can use bluetooth for phone but not for streaming audio. Also, Navigation is stuck on loading and will not load for use. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? Dealership says I need a new head Unit.
Hi,
It's not going to be possible to diagnose over this forum as no one can see your car etc. I suggest you look for a local reputable and knowledgeable automotive electrician and/or similar reputable car audio installers and specialists. There might be some continuity issues with wiring etc. You could also swap in known working OEM audio modules to test if they work or not. Once you know what's causing the issue(s) you can evaluate how to resolve. Drop this query into the F30 forum as well.
Cheers, Dennis!
Thanks, I will post in f30 as well. I'm thinking the guy that fixed to seat unhooked the battery and when he attached to battery back he did not clear the registry and register the battery?
