Would an e46 m3 LSD fit into an e46 320ci or what set up would be needed ?

Moved to E46 forum. But maybe you can find out by yourselves, use realoem.com and select the part number of both cars for the LSD and compare it. Or use you VIN, find the p/n on realoem, go to the start of realoem and paste the p/n into search by p/n and all BMW with the same p/n will be shown

You would need the E46 M3 axles and driveshaft, or you would have to get creative and swap the input/output flanges.

Or you could put in an aftermarket LSD drop-in from a place like M-Factory— their LSD is $999 for a brand new part that will fit into your stock housing.
