    E36 multifunction steering wheel retrofit

It seems simple enough, yet Frankie's retrofit guide seems so, uhm, yeah...
    http://www.frankies-bmw.com/3series/...ring_wheel.php

    And

    http://www.frankies-bmw.com/8series/...s_mf_wheel.php

I know this has been covered a million times over, and yet it is such a major difference not only in looks but, well, functionality..

Besides the fact that I am mix matching parts all over the place it actually is quite simple. I have an E39 M5 Multifunction steering wheel with all the buttons, gizmos and gadgets. One main item I know for sure (Such a hot contention of discussion) was/is the single stage airbag, which I also got. I also picked up the (Hopefully correct?) slip ring for the conversion. Which is part number 32 34 1 094 261 PHOTO below..

As well as in Frankie's write up second link above BUT for the 8 series.. WOULD it be the same for a 1995 E36 M?

My car is a 1995 M3 coupe, installed a CD43, even installed a DICE unit to use bluetooth as well as telephone (I love this hack by the way) and am only wondering exaclty which wires go to which parts on the slop ring. I get the stereo goes to space 7 on the radio wiring harness etc, but what exact wires go to what on the slip ring to the underside of the steering column? I understand the brown to ground (Under steering column again) and bag to bag connections (right? No splicing?) And then Blue horn relay (From slip ring) to which wire, where? Just to ANYTHING that is a hot/red wire? Usually the red with a green stripe is a hot wire right?

I definitely think I am overthinking things here, but am not a fan of blowing off a $50 airbag in my face, ha..

Seriously though, is it as simple as attaching brown on slipring to ground under dash, yellow airbag attachment to back of airbag, then white to terminal 7 on radio wiring harness? As well as yellow/black airbag harness (From slipring) to orange airbag harness under the dash?
And Basically using the Brown/Purple/Blue/White/LBlue harness coming off the slipring... ?

Although this may seem difficult enough for me, I think I am waiting to accomplish this much (Radio, and directionals, possibly the bluetooth/phone comes up as well?) until I attack doing any kind of cruise control retrofit or source a $350 part just to have it on a button..

    Thanks!!
