Sources of leak on Valve Cover Gasket - X5 F15

I just replaced the VCG on my 2014 F15 with the N55 engine and everything went right, I'm sure that the VCG is not leaking any more, however I still see smoke in the engine area, very light, not the amount of smoke when the VCG was damaged, is any other source for leaking oil on the F15 or the burning oil is the remaining oil somewhere in the engine area? Thanks in advance for your help guys !

Look around the gasket area of the valve cover and make sure the gasket didn't fold under

Oil drips onto the catalytic converter, and the o2 sensor. It could still be the residual oil burning off. I have also seen when oil drips into the accordion-style heat shielding of the o2 sensor, and will continue to smoke after the repairs were made.
