    Refinish mag wheels- best way to do it

    I have a great set of MVR mag wheels. They've been professionally painted in the past in white. Now after a few years, the paint is chipping off around the edges etc. The store wants $145 per wheel to refinish them, Sandblast or dipping, cleaned, powdercoated. I don't want to put that much money into them. So, what are the best methods to get the paint off, any tips will help as I have lots of time. Thanks
