    E28 coilovers on an e3?

Hi. New to the forum. This has probably been touched on 100 times already but im lazy and at work. Is it impossible to retrofit e28 coilovers on a bavaria? I want to upgrade my suspension with something more adjustable. The previous owner cut the springs to lower the stance and i like the way it sits, but i dread hitting bumps ecause it bottoms out. Are the front struts the same diameter between the 2? The research ive done shows they should be without acually having 2 side by side. The setup i want to get has comes with the front and rear strut mounts. Rears look like drop ins so the front seems to be the only issue i see depending on the strut diameter. Any info or point in the right direction would be awesome. Thanks

No clue. Your best bet would be to contact Ground Control and see what they say.
